THE WHAT’S WHERE IN UK FILMING TODAY

As the summer reaches its end, the entertainment industry is feeling the effects of the ongoing SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes in the United States. Due to this, several major film and TV projects, including Beetlejuice 2, Wicked, and Deadpool 3, have been put on hold.

Despite the challenges, several domestic productions have continued filming. In the North West, The Bay Series 5, The Gathering, Playdate, and The Responder are all in production or filming. Meanwhile, the Midlands has Phoenix Rise, Joan, and A Good Girl's Guide to Murder, while the South West is home to Beyond Paradise Series 2, McDonald & Dodds Series 4, and Silo Series 2. In the East and South East, Snow White and The Sandman Series 2 are in production, while in the North East, After the Flood is filming.

It's important to note, however, that some projects have been delayed or put on hold due to the striking. Nevertheless, these shows and films are still in production or filming, allowing us a glimpse into the rich and diverse offerings that the UK entertainment industry has to offer.
